Two leaders of the new school Nigerian “Afro Pop” sound, Tiwa Savage and Naeto C, graced the stage individually at the “New World Nigeria” event this past Sunday in the United Kingdom. Tiwa can sing for Africa. Naeto does his thing as usual. Watch below.

What nonsense Tiwa, you have barely 20mins to showcase your music and you spend over 12mins singing other peoples songs…what gives???…as much as I like her, I am getting tired of her and her sub-par stage performances…Step your game up….Naija artists, if you stage performance cannot live up to the hype of your studio recorded songs, this our supposed global music takeover would die a slow but sure death….I don't want to hear your recorded music playing at a live event, be creative, translate the digital sounds to live instruments. Glad about one thing though, Tiwa savage did her performance with a live band and it sounded good…and even though Naeto c did not, he came up with dancers on stage which is something different…its about time lip singing on stage takes the back sit…:)

Tiwa Savage, good voice but lack lyrical depth and creativity. Surely admire her, but won't ascend to the highest levels PSquare, 2face and D'Banj has attained with below-par songs and stage performances. I believe she wrote and backed up American singers in the States.
