Overview of Teeklef – XO
Teeklef bridges a gap between cultures, the 2 places he calls home internalized and serving as inspiration for his art, the new places he travels bringing new life and new ideas to his music constantly. With ‘XO’, he refocuses his attention on the sounds currently pushing Hip-Hop and R&B forward, creating a romantic, vibey ballad perfect for late summer.
Teeklef, an artiste known well known in the Nigerian music scene since he was a teenager, is back with the visual for his latest single ‘XO’. From his current American home base of Indianapolis, he has been continually exploring his upbringing in Afrobeat culture and filtering them through Hip-Hop production techniques.

‘XO’ is the latest single from Teeklef’s upcoming LP. It follows collaborations with Swedish DJ collective Mashup International and a feature with French producers, Nau Mad.
Teeklef will continue his prolific year with an LP in Fall 2019. He has been on the road supporting his latest releases on the Afro-Pop World Tour, with dates all over Europe and the US. Written, performed, and produced by Teeklef, ‘XO’ is co-produced, mixed and mastered by producer Sammy Vee.
