Nigerian-American superstar, Jidenna releases the visuals to the remix of his megahit single “Classic Man” featuring Kendrick Lamar. The “light-skinned Igbo-American” singer/rapper, who says he’s a target in Nigeria, has done a stellar job of ignoring the social media backlash from Nigerians across the globe for his controversial statements. Instead, he’s gone ahead with the scheduled release of the video for Classic Man (Remix), which by the way, is a fantastic tune! Watch below.
For those wondering if that’s Janelle Monae in the video, yes it’s her. Jidenna is signed to Janelle’s Wondaland Records. Oh, and the original “Classic Man” is currently #4 on iTunes Nigeria. Who says controversy isn’t a good thing?!
