Brazilian wunderkind Vinicius Jr. was announced as the UEFA Young Player of the season as he had heavily contributed to Real Madrid’s champions league victory.
He had been acknowledged for his impressive contribution to the team by the UEFA Technical Observer panel. The 21-year-old played a total of 13 games for Real Madrid, scored a total of 4 goals, including the winning goal in the finals, and made 6 assists.
