The former player of the Super Eagles of Nigeria holds the number 9 position with 4 goals in the UEFA Champions League and its qualifying stages for all the clubs he had played for. Michael was an important player for the club sides Feyenoord from 1992 through 1996. and Anorthosis Famagusta FC during the period 1999-2000.

Aside from this, the former Nigerian star also became the first Nigerian to play in the J1(Japanese) League.
