The star woman of the USA Gymnastics Team, Simone Biles will compete in the balance beam final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The USA Gymnastics confirmed this on their official Twitter account on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2021.
The association expressed their excitement in the tweet, about having Biles back on the team and also competing in the balance team final on the 3rd of August 2020.
We are so excited to confirm that you will see two U.S. athletes in the balance beam final tomorrow. Suni Lee and Simone Biles!! Can’t wait to watch you both.
Biles had earlier withdrawn from the games, saying she wants to focus on her mental health. She will look to get herself another medal when she takes center stage in the women’s balance beam final on the last day of the Artistic Gymnastics competition.

The American won four Gold Medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics Games in Team, All round, Vault, and Floor events in Gymnastics.
