The players of the Super Falcons of Nigeria were left stranded at the airport upon arrival from the African Cup Of Nations qualifiers in Abidjan.
A player of the Super Falcons Of Nigeria, Onome Ebi took to her social media platform to narrate their ordeal as the staff of the Abuja International Airport had locked them in the airport and had also prevented them from stepping outside after just arriving from a crucial qualifier fixture.
In a video that surfaced online, the players who had just won their match and qualified for the African Cup Of Nation scheduled to happen in Morocco were seen trying to explain the situation to airport staff and members of the NCDC.

Nigerians had been in shock when the video surfaced online as the players looked tired and did not have staffs of the NFF with them to welcome them back as a team and also congratulate them for their efforts.
