The UEFA Champions League have released its best eleven players for the just concluded 2021/22 football season.
ROMELU LUKAKU SET TO OPEN TALKS WITH ANOTHER CLUB
The list of players was released by the organising body on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022. The list was dominated by the finalists of the competition, Liverpool and Real Madrid had four players each on the team list. One Manchester City player, one Chelsea player and one PSG player.
UEFA went with a 4-3-3 formation, Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois was placed in the goal, the defenders had three Liverpool defenders ( Virgil Van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and former Chelsea player ( Antonio Rudiger).
The midfield trio had Real Madrid’s Luka Modric, Liverpool’ Fabinhio and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne. The attacking trio was dominated by two Real Madrid players ( Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior) while PSG’S Kylian Mbappe completes the team.
