It was an emotional day at the Santiago Bernabeu when Manchester United latest signing Raphael Varane bids goodbye to his teammates and members of staff at Real Madrid on Friday, July 30, 2021. This is after the French defender agreed to personal terms with the Red Devils on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
The training practice at Real Madrid was interrupted when Varane visited the players to say goodbye before he travels to Manchester for his medicals.

He also posted an appreciation message on his official Instagram account on Friday, the 30th of July, thanking his teammates, staff members, and the supporters of Real Madrid for the support he received in the past ten years.
Varane started his Real Madrid career in the 2011/12 season winning three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, three Spanish Supercopa, four UEFA Champions League, three UEFA Super Cup, and four FIFA Club World Cup. He is hoping to win more trophies at Manchester United.
