The Premier League clubs are known for breaking the bank whenever the transfer window opens either during the summer or winter transfer.
Manchester United and Liverpool are the top clubs when it comes to the transfer of players within the league or from other leagues. Notjustok has decided to highlight the top ten transfers in the history of the Premier League.
(10 ) Nicholas Pepe – £72 million
The Ivorian is number 10 on the list of top Premier League transfers, this feat was achieved during the summer transfer window of 2017. The Gunners bought him for 72 million pounds.
(9) Jadon Sancho – £73 million
The English player completed a move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United during the 2021 transfer window. Sancho had a slow start to his career at the Old Trafford club.
(8) Virgil Van Dijk – £75 million
The Dutchman joined Liverpool from Southampton during the January transfer window of 2018. Van Dijk has been an integral part of the Liverpool team since he made the move to Anfield.

The German joined Chelsea from Bayern Leverkusen for a record transfer fee during thr summer transfer window of 2020.
(6) Harry Maguire – £80 million
The English man has been under scrutiny by Manchester United and England supporters. The Defender completed his move from Leicester City to the Old Trafford in August 2019.
(5) Darwin Nunez – £85.4 million
The Uruguayan completed his transfer from the Portuguese side, Benfica for a record transfer fee surpassing that amount that was used in buying his fellow teammate, Van Dijk.
(4) Romelu Lukaku- £90 million
The Belgian is the only player to occur on the top ten transfer list twice, Lukaku joined the Red Devils from Everton during the summer transfer window of 2017 for a record transfer fee.
(3) Paul Pogba – £93.25 million
The French midfielder broke the record fee when he was bought by Manchester United from Juventus during the summer transfer window of 2016.
(2) Romelu Lukaku – £97.5 million
Lukaku returned to the Premier League in the summer window of 2021, after he left for Inter Milan, the Belgian returned to his boyhood club, Chelsea breaking the Blues transfer fee which was held by Kai Havertz.
(1) Jack Grealish – £100 million
The English man holds the record for the highest transfer fee in the Premier League. He joined Manchester City from Aston Villa in August 2021.
