The manager of Arsenal Football Club, Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Alexander Lacazette will be the captain until the end of the season.

Arteta confirmed the news during his pre-match conference ahead of the club’s premier league game against Wolves on Thursday, February 10th, 2022. The Gunners have not been without a permanent captain following the situation that they had with Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
Lacazette is currently in the last six months of his contract at the North London club. He is the most experienced player in the Arsenal squad and does not look like he will renew his contract at the end of the season.
