Zouma was caught in the act of kicking and physically abusing his cats in a video that was released by his brother on the social media platform, TikTok during the week. The French defender has been under a lot of scrutiny from a lot of people around the world and most especially in England.
Antonio was speaking in an interview with Sky Sports News on Thursday, February 10th, 2022. The striker does not support the action by Zouma but feels it is unfair that people are calling that ho’s contract at the Hammers be terminated.
I am not condoning what he has done. I don’t agree with what he has done. But some people have been convicted, who have been caught for racism but have played football afterwards. They got punished, they got eight games suspension or something like that, but people are now calling for him to be sacked from his source of living. I just have one question to ask, is what he has done worse than those who have been convicted for racism.
Zouma has since the incident apologised for his actions, he also has lost his sponsorship deal with footwear Adidas. The club also has also gotten one of it sponsors suspend its contract with West Ham United.
