The manager of Liverpool Football Club, Jurgen Klopp has equalled the record set by former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.

The German wrote his name in the history books following his team’s victory over Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, May 4th, 2022. Klopp has reached the Champions League final for the fourth time as a coach, equalling the record set by Marcello Lippi, Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti.

Klopp also became the first manager to get to the final of the Carabao Cup, the final of the FA Cup and the final of the UEFA Champions League. This feat was achieved by Liverpool against Villarreal in the second leg.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are still looking forward to winning the quadruple, they beat Chelsea in the final of the Carabao Cup and will face the Blues in the final of the FA Cup. The Reds are just one point behind Manchester City in the Premier League, they await the winners of the second semi-final game between Manchester City and Real Madrid.
