Jose was speaking at a press conference ahead of his team’s second leg semifinal game against, Leicester City. The Portuguese was asked about his preparation for the game and if he is looking forward to playing in the final of the Europa Conference League and his time at Spurs in the Carabao Cup final.
There is only one match that I didn’t win, which is the next one. I want to win the next one always. If the next one is a semi-final, even more, the semi-final gives you the right to play in the final, if you are not sacked before the final.
Jose was sacked from his job at Tottenham by the board because they were not comfortable with the results that they were getting during that time. Spurs went on to hire Antonio Conte who has been doing well for the club since he arrived.
