The body governing football in the world, FIFA, has announced teams that will be participating in the competition in Qatar.
PAUL POGBA REPORTEDLY AGREES TO JOIN JUVENTUS
The news was announced by FIFA on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022, according to the body the participating countries will be allowed to bring 26 players against the usual 23 players.
The reason for this decision is because of the outbreak of Covid-19 and also the timing of the competition which is in November as against the usual month lf June. This will give the teams a pool of players to pick from in case there is any situation of coronavirus in any team.
The larger squad size was introduced during the Euro 2020 European competition and the Africa Cup of Nations which was hosted in Cameroon.
