
It is raining Gold for the Nigerian team on the tracks at the ongoing Commonwealth Games at Birmingham.

CALLUM HODSON-ODOI REPORTEDLY SET TO LEAVE CHELSEA
The quartet of Tobi Amusan, Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma and Grace Nwokocha finished in the first position in the final race of the Women’s 4×100 meters relay. They achieved this feat on Sunday, August 7th, 2022 taking Nigeria’s Gold tally to 11.
The Nigerians did not just win Gold but they also set a new African record of 42.10 seconds, this is Tobi Amusan’s second Gold medal of the tournament.
There was also a podium finish for the Men’s team in the final race of the 4×100 meters relay. The quartet of Udodi Onwuzurike, Favour Ashe, Alaba Akintola and Raymond Ekevwo won the bronze medal with a time of 38.81 seconds. The English finished in the first position while Trinidad and Tobago finished in the second position.
