Former Manchester United player, Ashley Young has extended his contract with Aston Villa for another season which will see him stay at the club until June 2023.

This is good news for supporters of Villa as they look to challenge for a spot in the European competitions at the end of the next football season. Aston Villa confirmed the contract extension on its official website on Monday, July 4th, 2022.
Young returned to the Premier League last season for the second time and will remain in the league at the end of the 2022/23 season. The former English midfielder won the league championship in England and Italy with both Manchester United and Inter Milan.
He was a key part of the Clarets last season playing 25 games, supporters of the Villa club will hope his contract extension will push them to a good position at the end of the season.
