The news about the players was announced on the club’s website on Thursday, August 19th, 2021. Aubameyang has recovered from Covid and might play against Chelsea on Sunday.

The Gunners might have to wait longer to have the services of Lacazette, as the French man is yet to recover.

Auba tested positive for Covid-19 and was unavailable for last Friday match at Brentford. Auba is now negative on Covid-19 testing, is well and following all protocols for return to play. He will return to training and be assessed prior to Sunday’s match.

Alex tested positive for Covid-19 and was unavailable for last Friday’s match at Brentford. Alex is still recovering and will not be available for Sunday’s match.

Arsenal’s next Premier League games are against Chelsea and Manchester City and they will need the services of their strikers.
