The manager of Tottenham Hotspur, Antonio Conte has called out the recruitment process at the club.

The Italian who was speaking in an interview with Sky Sports News on Thursday, February 17th, 2022, said Spurs do not always go for experienced players. According to him, he believes the North London club should go for experience in place of youth.

Conte was appointed following the sack of Nuno Espirito Santo, who was sacked following the bad run of form by the club. Tottenham have struggled in recent games, as they have lost their last three league games.
The poor run started against Chelsea, then Southampton and the most recent was against Wolves at the White Hart Lane. This is the first time Spurs will lost three consecutive league games since 2009.
