The Super Eagles have started training session ahead of their opening game against the Pharaohs of Egypt on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022.

Nigeria will be looking out to win her fourth African Cup of Nations trophy which they last won in 2013 under the supervision of Late Steven Keshi. The Super Eagles must get past Egypt, Sudan and Guinea Bissau in the group stage to have a chance to win the competition that is hosted in Cameroon.
The Nigerian team are without a proper striker following the absence of Victor Osimhen, Odion Ighalo and Emmanuel Dennis.
