Captain of the Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa has cleared the air as it concerns retirement from International football.

The Nigerians were speaking in a press conference ahead of the Super Eagles game against Egypt in the opening group game of the competition. He debunked the news making the round that he is retiring from International football.
I did not say I will retire fromm international football after this AFCON but this will be my last AFCON and will still have the World Cup that I will go.
The 29-year-old was called up to the Nation team ahead of the World Cup hosted in South Africa in 2010 following his impressive performance at the WAFU competition.
Nigeria is grouped alongside Egypt, Sudan and Guinea Bissau. The Super Eagles play the Pharaohs on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022.
