Nigerian singer, music executive, and politician, Banky W, has made it known that afrobeats poster-boy Wizkid might still be owing EME Records about three albums.
Banky W, who is currently running for a political post, is one of the executives of EME that signed Wizkid for a total of five years before he left to start his outfit called Starboy Entertainment.

Speaking in an interview with media personality Ebuka, Banky W, who wasn’t so accurate about the information, mentioned that Wizkid’s contract required him to release five albums. However, the singer dropped just two.
He went on to state that he understood that the Grammy-nominated singer needed to leave at the time he wanted, hence, the reason the label decided to let him go.
