The 27th of June 2021 was a beautiful night in Los Angeles as top artistes and fans favourite celebrities came out looking beautiful and dashing for the The BET Awards 2021.
Burna Boy, cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion
The ceremony had African and other international artistes, many of whom were nominated and looked forward to ending the night with an award or even more than one to take home.
While that was the reality for some, many left with no award but enough excitement from the night. Artistes who received award for the night include Burna Boy who won the category of ‘Best International Act‘, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion (who nabbed the most win with three awards), Lil Baby, H.E.R, and many others.
The award ceremony closed with a tribute to DMX by Swizz Beatz, Busta Rhymes, Griselda, and Method Man.
