The Afrobeat singer will be gracing the Hollywood Bowl stage in celebration of its 100th anniversary.
Iconic Nigerian musician Femi Anikulapo Kuti will be performing at the 2022 Hollywood Bowl alongside other international stars.
The Hollywood Bowl, a Los Angeles landmark event, will be celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The event is scheduled to run through June, July, August and September 2022. According to reports, the event will feature jazz, pop, and classical concerts, Fourth of July fireworks, as well as film screenings with live orchestral accompaniment.
Femi Kuti and the Postive Force will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival on June 25 and 26, alongside heavyweights like The Roots, Christian Scott, and a slew of others
Announcing the news via his Instagram page, the Afrobeat icon wrote:
L.A.! I’m very happy to announce that my band and I are coming to the Bowl on the 26th of June 2022. Hope to see you there.
