DJ Switch Reacts To The Arrest of #OccupyLekkiTollGate Peaceful Protesters

Nigerian entertainer, DJ Switch has reacted to the arrest of #OccupyLekkiTollGate peaceful protesters by security operatives.

On the 13th of February 2021, DJ Switch took to her twitter account to share her thoughts regarding the arrest of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos on the 13th of February 2021. She asked Nigerians to speak up in whatever way they can. She said the action taken by the Nigerian Government to arrest the peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate is enough evidence for this generation of Nigerians to see and put a stop to the continuous oppression. She wrote;

“I am so angry at all I see, I want us all… Where ever we are, to speak up! In whatever way you can!!! Will update you all on what is happening on the 17th if all goes well. Like I said… I have chosen to fight, what do you want to do? #EndSARS  #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria”

“If you were still sitting on the fence, let today’s actions be exhibit 1 zillion!!! because there’s so much proof that it is past time we stop all this nonsense & start truly doing something. This generation is where your oppression will stop! #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria #EndSARS”

She further emphasized that the oppression and violation of the rights of Nigerians would end with the efforts of the current generation of Nigerians. She also promised to take the matter to the highest places she can. Her tweet;

“You continue to violate our rights and you think you can get away with it? This generation is where your oppression will stop! The tactics you have used for so long is what will be the end of you! Personally, I will take this matter 2 the highest places I can. #EndSARS”

Earlier on, it was reported that Nigerian rapper, Falz had questioned the actions of the Nigerian Federal Government for deploying security operatives to arrest the #OccupyLekkiTollGate peaceful protesters while also revealing that popular Nigerian comedian, Mr Macaroni has been arrested by security operatives.
