Trybe Records Presents: Aramide – I Don’t Mind + It’s Over

“After wowing audiences with her heart-warming, acoustic rendition of “Today Today”, Aramide is back with her debut singles “I Don’t Mind” and “It’s Over”. In “I Don’t Mind” Aramide shines vocally over the lush instrumentation of a 70′s big band and triumphant horns. Known for her acoustic prowess while crooning smooth melodies, Aramide puts down the guitar and showcases her versatility and powerful vocals as she belts out a defiant and fierce defense of her love against the doubters and naysayers.

Haunting piano keys then introduce us to “It’s Over” as Aramide recounts lost love and the process of moving on while emphatically insisting that there will be no second chances. Starting shyly with recollections of her relationship, the talented songstress’ voice booms stronger as her conviction that the relationship is over grows from verse to verse. Aramide delivers a stirring vocal performance that anyone who has tried to end a relationship can relate to.

  3. Incidentally i was just vibing to "Sista Sista" by Beverly Knight and truthfully, Aramide has really come of age with her soulful voice and harmonic cadences. She's good, songs are awesome.

  18. good work trybes records …good artist with amazing potentials . I carefully listened to both song well and noticed d huge similarities in her writing method to other songs i have heard b4 . the first song i cant put a name to straight away.its an american song . but the second one was a song by Asa ,..I no its a common thing in the music industry but for a new artist she need more work on image and personality ,,,she needs to have her own unique style ,so she can compete not just in Nigeria but globally…there are so many singers with that same style all over the world …trybes record dont rush her project , find time to help on her image . She can make good money for your label but trust me she needs to come across stronger .
