Pace up, take a deep breath and hit the PLAY button. R2Bees’ latest single will struck you with awe as you listen to a masterpiece, a record that would redefine music and its hold in many circles and a song that is likely to pass for a CLASSIC.
Known invariable for their flair of Afrobeats and Hiphop, the duo have totally gone into the haystack for this one. A proper “Burger” highlife with the rich sample of “Yaa Amponsah” coupled with sing along lyrics makes this tune unique. Unpredictable Mugeez stuns with his delivery, as Peadae blesses it with his “swagful” touch. As the song plays on, you yearn for more and can’t wait for the next line.
Known for monster hits such as “I Dey Mad”, “Kiss your Hand” and their recent club shatter “Ajeeeii” it would come as no surprise if the new single jumps into immediate hit status. Details of the song and release date (23rd july 2012 ) are yet to be announced by management but as it stands it would be one of their best works so far, Ike Otoo Arhin (manager) hinted.
In a related development, the group is set to set out for the famous Africa Unplugged concert in the UK this August 27th. Reliable information reaching us also indicates that the group will be kicking started their North American Tour in September
