Premiere: Goldie – Don’t Touch (Celebration Remix) + Viral Video

Multiple award winning Nigerian female pop sensation and Kennis music diva Queen G popularly known as Goldie Harvey is no industry newbie. Having been on the scene and honing her skills with OJB, shooting groundbreaking videos with DJ Tee and having her fair share of critics along the way, this hardworking diva has proven over time that she’s no flash in the pan.
After dropping her long awaited album “GOLD” in October 2010 and serenading the entertainment industry with a plethora of wave making songs and videos such as “You know it” and monster hit “Jawo Jawo”, it comes as no surprise that the next single off her album is a solo effort. The original version of the “Don’t Touch” track is Techno and Afro beat inspired, produced by SARZ, whom notjustOk recently did a hype on. The vocals are crisp and clear with a very international appeal.
The 2nd version which is the remix, (Celebration Remix) as she calls it, is a sure club banger. Also produced by SARZ, mixed and mastered by Sheyman, with backing vocals by Centage Super star Minjin of “Turning Me on”.

New Club joint from Goldie and free download links. Listen and share with everyone! Also, the viral video for the ‘Don’t Touch‘ album version can be viewed below, and the download links for the 2 tracks, original and remixes are also here… Let me know your thoughts.

Expect the GOLD Reloaded album to drop some time this year on Kennis Music.

  3. its strange i'm listening to this track for the first…i love the instrument and concept of th song (i actually did not watch the video)…good work Goldie..U are always U..

  4. Enough talented peeps out there wanting to get on notjustok but no way……………I dont know the criteria they use in debuting peoples song on their blog………..

Honestly, this sound like just a gal that got into a lil bit of money by inheritance and thought she had talent in music cos she lacks the skill to do anything else……….u cant pay for talent….I know am being harsh here but i will tell it as it is……everybody thinks by dropping the legend OJB's name, its a pass into the industry…….

she knows wat to do to improve herself, sha………I wouldnt tell her

    This worls is so unfair……..

    • bro you dey vex…why you no vex 4 ur parent t if they have nothing to leave for you as inheritance…. She is trying to do what she loves to do with her money and you come here and talk her down. she has a style and she is consistent. nice song big sister from EKITI parapo lol

  5. Droping a remix too fast…. a remix is only made when a song is so popular , and is getting kinda to tired to listen to …. a remix is made to bring it back to the club … its mostly done before the final album release…
nice song but remix ….. needs more oomph ….. maybe techno.rock feel… something jesse jags/ sossick

  6. One thing that isnt make the Nigerian music industry grow is that we're too biased in our judgements.
why should anyone on earth listen to this song, and feel like criticising.
    GOLDIE, SARZ NICE WORK.

  7. GOLDIE NO MIND SOME PEEPS JARE.
people who can't look u in d eye when they see u talkless of talk sh'' to u, take a place like dis as their only option of pickin at u.
AS FO MI, GOLDIE JUST DROPPED THE SONG THAT CRITICS r GONNA DANCE TO, IN D NEXT 2WEEKS. seriously

  8. Kudos to ya Goldie!!!

To the Haters, as usual, put up or shut up!!

As for Tmonei, get off ya ass, work and work and keep working, that's what gets you noticed!!lol

Lemme go celebrate and pop sumtin!!

  9. cool song sister Bimpe. hope you remember me, I'm Charles, met you at the place in ikeja.
JAWO JAWO was hot on stage.

  10. Tmonei is not an AGBOJULEOGUN like u………..I preffer to get mine unlike u….dats is why u will always be Tired 4 Naija because u are an hypcrite……….where will she heaar da truth except from blogs like this……..truth is bitter

is dat how waje, tiwa savage, keffi, nikki laoye and co sings………………Goldie has not improved since her first debut with OJB………………she sings off key, off tempo and all she does is shout into da mic as if its a hair brush……….she should take her money to Cobhams and see wat comees of it……..that is if cobhams will have her….

  11. One thing I've gotta say is that criticism helps in improving the content and quality of music and this will provide room for growth.

I understand criticism to be the act or art of analyzing and evaluating or judging the quality of a literary or artistic work, musical performance, art exhibit, dramatic production, etc.

To Goldie; I've listened to you from the very begining, i can see the growth, like Ovie said; you've had your share of critism and we're proud at the level in which you've grown. BUT, Nigerians want more, we've started understanding music as a whole… You can do better, not saying this is a bad job either, well done.

To the Critics; Please, Constructive criticism isn't a bad idea. There's a thing line between criticism and hatred. Choose one, if its the latter, you need help.

one more thing, http://www.soundhivenaija.com launches on the 20th of April,2011. it is a musical review and criticism website.

    Thanks 🙂

    • well said, my brother………..I guess I over-criticised cos I was in a bad mood………..I just got angry at peeps making poor music that are under par and so getting by based on the huge publicity strenght of their record label (kennis)……….we need to keep the tempo rising, those putting in the time and effort in making naija music industry better and proud by churning out good music (asha, nnneka, dare and co) are no fools…….the standard must not fall

  14. F..k It the remix is so addictive. I think this is the birth of naijas rihanna ie an artist that will chun out hits after hits currently she my not be the best female artist but no female artist has had hotter singles than her b/w last year and this year. Cant wait to hear this in a club especially the remix.

  15. This song isn't below par. I understand it lacks content but the beat is heavy and its just a club song to make u move. Nice one Goldie
