OverDose ft. Dammy Krane – I like your Way

If you watched OverDose’s video last week and thought that track was good, this new one is even better.

If well promoted, ‘I Like Your Way‘ will have serious rotation on the radio. OverDose features Dammy Krane who makes the hook catchy and easy to stick.

This is OverDose’s first single off his upcoming album. You are likely to play this song a second time upon first listen, so get ready to spend a good 6 minutes or more enjoying it.

  1. Mola, gotta say bro, you're bloody right! I played it a second time…..third time……fourth time……fifth……I've lost count lol. Madt tune!!!

  2. OverDose. What a guy. A hustler from Abuja. First seen on the SWAT RooTs Clan videos making cameos to becoming a name to reckon with when it comes to commercial rap music in Lagos (note i said just "Lagos"). Thing is, with his effort and time spent in the Nigeria n music scene he should have arrived at the top of that pyramid along side M.I (took him 1.5years to achieve), Ice Prince (6 months with help from Brymo on that track Oleku). DaGrin (Credit to his indigenous blend and local following); But yet he struggles to attain even a measure of relevance.

Not to so he is not a good rapper, but that he just might be way ahead of his environment. Eventually though it is obvious that he has realized the need to incorporate local influence into his style of music to attain a fan base. His move to Lagos over 4 years ago was supposed to have boosted his career but bearly did so.

For the mare fact that i just click on play for the 4th time while writing this is a testament that he might just have gotten the algorithm right for the first time. I hop, however, that for what ever album he is constructing these nu releases for, he stays true to a specific theme. No hardcore/Commercial confusion mixtures. If he want to be either he should stick to it.

I enjoy listening to this track. I do however think that his producer might need to up his game just a little to compete with the likes of Jesse Jags and his Kin or even El Dee.

  3. Say whatever you like about OverDose, there are 3 things you must add;
    1. This track featuring Dammy Krane is a bloody dope joint.
    2. OverDose is a damn good rapper.
    3. OverDose's time is now. Like they say, no army in the world can stop an idea whose time has come.

  4. Hmm!
I guess he's gone all commercial,
you can't listen to this and say,Overdose is a tight rapper, you wanna hear him rap?
listen to the "don't hate" album, classic stuff.
Seems we won't get that O.D back, i guess, man must chop.

As far as commercial tracks go, this a good one.
    would get you dancing.

    the hook is wicked,
    nice jam.

  5. When OD dropped 'Don't Hate' what did y'all do for him? I'm glad the boy found courage to just do great
music and not bother about what critics wanna say. OD you get mouth jor.

  6. Overodse is lyrically sick! And this commercial joint just proves he can lean on both sides. I like the fact that he called on Samklef to produce this. It's just brilliant.

Dammy Krane's effect too was ill. Nice one NotjustOk.

X3M music are doing well, Overdose and Praiz look like a good team.

  7. Overodse is lyrically sick! And this commercial joint just proves he can lean on both sides. I like the fact that he called on Samklef to produce this. It's just brilliant.

  8. OverNonsense, is this not what one of the guys dissing Ruggedman for not keeping it real? The next is to their papa MODO singing juju just to feed himself. Una eye don clear abi?

  9. overdoze am happy you all INCLUDING Modo or mode9 HAS finally changed to the style the RAP told you guys to do thus RUGGEDMAN aka RUGGEDYBABA ……hahahaaha But if u guys have listened to him back then when by now una for done make money like MI,ICEPRINCE AND THE REST OF THEM that followed the the PLATFORM BABA thus RUGGEDYBABA set for 9JA RAP……Good music overdoze but more THANKS TO RUGGEDMAN he is the RAP GOD IN 9JA Rap GAME……

  10. Overcorrect! Did you hear 'I can't shout'? Mad jam with enough lyrics to swoop your girlfriend from you! And this joint is another radio killa. OD is making mad sense to me

  11. I like you way, you like my way baby! This is a club banger! Overdose and Iceprince are my favourite rappers ATM.

Overdose has that hard feel yet he's real cool with the words.

  12. I teach dem lesson/

    I happy say dem listen/

now is time to walk like person wey free frm prison/-Ruggedman

Thank you o Ruggedy Mode 9 and Overdose don take ur advice o!!

  13. Mumu, he was talking about Kennis MUsic in that joint. Well I guess you were a year old when that was released.

Oh well, back to better things. I need to see a video to this new Overdose joint. Did someone say Clarence Peters?!

  14. I'm almost weeping! Who ever says this track is nice is talking about the beat and hook! that's it(2/3 of the ppl dnt even understand d yoruba in the hook). seeing a lot of people saying things that are just below expectations here. The tune is cool, it'll work for everyone that just merely thinks of clubbing or the ambiance everyday. I love O.D but this track is lyrically low and lacks content. Apparently that's what we Nigerians love these days. We shud probably create a name for our rap like Ghana did (hip-life) rather than still classifying this as hip hop.

  15. **Dancing and singing** *Fuji Gabage** It's a savvy radio joint! Go and listen to Asa or Nneka for more serious music. *hiss*
