D’banj, Femi Kuti, Fally Ipupa, Omawumi, Diamond, Africa All Stars – Cocoa Na Chocolate

ONE.org today launched one of the continent’s biggest musical collaborations ever, ‘Cocoa na Chocolate’, in support of a new campaign to boost investments in agriculture: ‘Do Agric, It Pays’.

Nineteen of the top recording artists from across Africa who joined ONE ambassador, D’banj as part of the project are: (Tanzania), Bufallo Souljah (Zimbabwe), Dama Do Bling (Mozambique), D’Banj (Nigeria), Diamond (Tanzania), Dontom (Nigeria), Fally Ipupa (DRC), Femi Kuti (Nigeria), Judith Sephuma (South Africa), Juliani (Kenya), Kunle Ayo (Nigeria), Vusi Nova (South Africa), Liz Ogumbo (Kenya), Nancy G (Swaziland), Omawumi (Nigeria), Rachid Taha (Algeria), Tiken Jah Fakoly (Cote d’Ivoire), Victoria Kimani (Kenya) and Wax Dey (Cameroon).

  1. Very commendable and timely effort by these artistes as Africa claims its title as the breadbasket of world. However i hope all aboard are adequately informed about the GMO vs Organic debate because ethical and responsible choices must be made.

  3. Well thought out. Music should be entertaining and educating. Good one wish MI was on this he would've nailed it. Good production from Cobams.Please the ladies should be given more recognition Omawumi wasn't mentioned in the intro although she did a great job with the chorus. Overall good one.
