Britella, the Malaysia-based crooner, makes another appearance here on the site. The Port Harcourt native, who had previously recorded a song with Duncan Mighty, decides to honour Timaya, the biggest artiste from PH (and the Niger-Delta as a whole), with this new joint “Timaya Pikin”. Some people may say he’s gone overboard with this tribute single, but it’s better to honour your idol while he’s still ALIVE than when he’s no more.
To this effect, I commend Britella for breaking from the norm and paying respect to a superstar that’s still very much with us. Sweet song! #OnRepeat! It definitely has the Timaya elements in it. Who knows? It might go far. Listen to it and share your thoughts.
