PREMIERE: Wande Coal – Plan B (Prod. Maleek Berry)

Wow!

Valentine Season is firmly upon us now, and Black Diamond Entertainment CEO Wande Coal has chosen to bless us with a new number. This time, he gives love and romance a new twist by assuming the position of the “other guy” aka “Plan B” aka “Boyfriend #2”.

Well-crafted lyrics, awesome vocal delively, world class production… I could keep going. “Plan B” by Wande Coal is quite simply a beautiful song. The Wande Coal/Maleek Berry magic from “My Way” was certainly no fluke.

*O.O*

  1. Lolxxx…Wande in his comfort zone…see as d music be like listening to Joe or Chris brown…all this other rnb artist wey dey use Agidi…u better carry book and pencil…This is a jam for me…nice 1 wande…something like Ololufe right here…jammest

  2. woow this is the wande coal i like, finally no more freestyle. wande would have never dropped a song like this under Don jazzy's record label. only tungba tungba music jazzy like.

  3. Everything is on point on this one. Wande needs to push this jam hard, give it good international promotion, it could really be big.

  4. This is an amazing song don't get me wrong, But…. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this 'old school' slow jam type of r&b is not popular anymore. In Naija and on the International scene! I hate to say it but no matter how hard he pushes this single it will never be a hit seeing as we are in 2014! Im not hating thats just the reality right now

    • To create what is popular is easy – it requires a simple formula . But to create that which is masterly, unpopular yet perfect – take guts, hardwork , perseverance and ambition.

Change is the only constant – embrace it and embrace the future.

    • You have a very low IQ, I'm sorry to say. You said the song is amazing and yet you went ahead to spit some gibberish. Have you listened to Rotate, the kick etc by the same artiste?People like you are the ones killing creativity in the music industry. The Americans that you people follow blindly celebrate all genres of music but in Nigeria, we are killing all other music genres apart from dance/panlogo music. Shouldn't we have some kind of variety? The fact that he's very versatile should be appreciated. Next time, make sure you think very well before you comment on spaces like this.

      • You clearly didn't read what I said! I appreciate this song and I have already played it multiple times… But unfortunately this is not the type of song that will become a hit in Nigeria at this point in time, which is just the sad truth of our music industry… Please confidently tell me the last out and out R&B song that blew in Nigeria or West Africa for that matter? Artists like Rotimi and Sojay have found it hard for this very reason. Why do you thing Iyanya (real music listeners would know that he was an R&B artist before) has changed his stye to pop an highlife? This is not coincidence, it is just the every changing nature of mainstream music.. And it is not just pangolo music that is appreciated, I can name a number of mellow jams that are hits without being pangolo or club jams.

  5. Thank God it not another tungba jam,a little too auto tuned but very good song, its going on my straf playlist along wiv my john ledgend nd jaheim songs,he sounds like James Fauntleroy on this one.

  6. wande is very talented honestly mehn! this song has that old skool r&b vibe. Sadly It will be only appreciated by a few. I dont see this being a mainstream hit in naija, honestly r&b as a genre is dying even in yankee and uk

  7. I must confess I'm awed by the compliments I'm seeing here it appears Nigerians are not as limited as we appear, I'm guessing they're the ones in majority,. an artist would be afraid to push a jam like this cause we celebrate mediocrity… I'm gladdened…

  8. I agree, the beat sounds dated. But that, in NO WAY, takes away from the beauty of this song. Breath of fresh air on the scene.

  9. i tire …this guys just want to be supportive,.. the truth is this is not even an R N B from the present …it sounds like something from jodeci era ..for new age R N B …check RKELLY'S new album or DAREY last album (just pointing u in a direction). nothing wrong in adding this to an album thou …just to let us know u know …u know
