  6. Although Parker Ighile has a beautiful voice, I’m not really feeling this song. His tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting was moving but something seems to be missing on this remix to So Beautiful featuring M.I who is often guilty of being criminally lazy on tracks where the other main or featured artistes fail to deliver.

    I feel that Parker did not stretch himself lyrically or vocally on this song and I was terribly disappointed. One of the most puzzling things was the instrumental break between Parker’s first verse and M.I rap verse. It was slightly awkward and uncomfortable and was a bit like the feeling you get when you accidentally fart in a lift filled with your colleagues. M.I’s flow was lethargic and sounded as if he was half asleep when he recorded it. Talking about Johnny Bravo and Cartoons…come on M’, we know you’re the best! You need to go hard on every joint…this song lacks depth of any sort.

    Parker man! You just made yourself sound like a poor man’s Frank Ocean…I really hope this is a one off and there’s better material on your upcoming Young Dumb & 21 Mix Tape.

    I didn’t enjoy this joint….thumbs down.

LOOOL…@Simon Cowell .inasmuch as i disagree with you on the observation of Parker' track(i thought it was a really cool track) i totally share your opinion on MI.As i was listening to his verse it felt like he only just up from about a three days sleep after a terrible hang -over.his voice sounded quite crooked.it felt like he was rapping using a fuji artiste' mic to a Parker' playing cd which had an extended instrumental flow. his rap was horid to listen !

  23. Its funny all the things you fault with the song are what i like about it. the instrumental before the break is really nice. M.I.s verse was above average. he was meant to sound half asleep. kinda like drake sounded in in the morning with j cole. and "till you tell my johnny bravo" has nothing to do with cartoon (hence the i dont mean no cartoon). listen to it again considering the preceeding lines (making love in a dark room). get it??

    • Oh no I got the deeper meaning. I threw in the cartoon as I felt M.I shortchanged Parker on this feature. On "Real G" where D'Prince featured M.I, he took a dig at D'Prince without doing any chewing gum rap.

  61. Only a true music genius would appreciate this song. The first time I heard the original of this song (without MI), I thought it was a produced by a foreigner. For those who don't know, Parker produced this song. I can see why Nicki Minaj would sign him up. Just imagine Nicki's vocals on this same beat. I'm sure that maybe then, some people would appreciate it then. Some of us are tired of the same generic Naija sound. This is different and in my opinion, it's a good song. Let's upgrade small and encourage him abeg.

U didn't commend on the lyrics MI delivered on this song, which made it sound even better than d original instead u called is singing drake-ing. Can u tink of any naija rapper who cud deliver such a poetic line one this song better than MI. But then again, I'm sure u didn't even understand the lyrics. There are so many rappers in naija who are really doing great now in naija and I'm so glad abt it, especially the yung ones (yung6, phenom, olamide) there's also iceprince, modenine, terry, sinzu, phyno etc but none is as poetic as MI abaga.
