About 17,000 of us voted and the numbers are finally out. As you will see below, I think it is quite accurate in relation to what most of you have probably imagined. Either way the results were pulled directly from the amount of votes each song got and the song that got the most votes is number 1 and the song with the 20th highest took the 20th position.
Without further ado, I present to you, the NotjustOk Top 20 songs of 2012
Congratulations to all the artists and we look forward to an even BIGGER 2013.
1. Iyanya – Kukere
[audio:http://www.notjustok.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/02-kukere_NJO.mp3|titles=02 kukere_NJO]Kukere is undeniably the #1 song of 2012. Iyanya delivered a monster, national hit which is now travelling outside the country and continent. Whenever this song came on you were filled with joy and demonstrated it by either attempting to do the Etighi dance or passionately reciting the entire song from start to finish. Big Congratulations to Iyanya.

What is tony montana doing in #10 while alingo in #20?? Abegi
swear down!!
Cos i dont understand how kukere and ihe neme are above oliver twist and dami duro
My opinion, most of these songs are crap, eminently unpresentable. Of the 20, here's my list:
AWESOME:
Ara
Aboki
COMPLETE RUBBISH:
Like to Party (I'd never heard it so I clicked play, promptly shut it up)
Your Waist
Take Banana
NICE:
Ihe Neme
Dami Duro
Oliver Twist
They were popular during the year, not saying they're the best songs ever, but this isn't a list of classics, so I understand.
Really sorry that people love junk music nowadays sha. It's bad for your health 😀
Quite simply put: YOU NO GET SENSE.
lastman nd lade una don dey mad cos i dont noe if it's only ur votes dat counts///didirinteam
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMiygnTsce0
I think Kukere did better than oliver twist in Nigeria. but in general, Oliver twist was a world-wide success.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMiygnTsce0
Guy… Go youtube go look how many people view Kukere and how many view oliver twist..
lol, kukere na like 5mil, Oliver twist na 3times kukere; like 15mil..
IS NOT BY YOUTUBE VIEW.. AFTERALL PSY HAS OVER A BILLION VIEW YET NO GRAMMY
I think it is a good list. It is only top 20 so don't be angry if your favourite artist is not number 1 or in the list. Remember this is the people's choice.
crap list
How come no female made the list? This must be sexism and gender biaism…

Lol, this list though…I'm actually quite surprised at some of the songs that made the list…
Like that dude at the top said…"What happened to Timaya's Sexy Ladies & Shake your Bum?" and Kokoma? 'Fine Fine lady' at least.. etc etc Oh well, It's just music. Doesn't really matter.
maybe you still dont grab that the songs were listed according to the amount of votes casted , put that in mind

But what is wrong with you all? From my understanding, 17000 people voted and the list was generated from the votes, why then are you guys disturbing the peace? this wasn't a made up list (well from what we are told or what we are made to believe). just keep quiet and move on.
Stupid and useless compilation (anger)….what about the Timaya – Bum Bum and Sexy Ladies…as many of you that compile this rubbish are all childish and you need upgrade….when did Ihe Neme came out that is occupying the second post….F*** this rubbish….
