Ice Prince

Chocolate City hotshot, Ice Prince Zamani releases a brand new official single titled “BOSS“. In recent weeks, the newly-appointed Chocolate City Vice-President has put out a couple of dope tracks (see “Marry You“, “Yawa Go Dey” and “Mr DJ“) while appearing on several high-profile features. This time around, he delivers a Tekno-produced party track which should fit in nicely on every Afrobeats/House playlist.

BOSS” already sounds like a hit. You’d have to be a statue to not move to this.

Boss comes with a cool groovy tune that has this mature flow to it, it also doesn’t fail to take you to the dance floor. Boss is a perfect complementation of beats and vocals, causing an explosion of musical lights in the mind’s eye, satisfying any appetite craving dance.

Completely making sure he didn’t zig when he should have zagged, Ice transformed this tune and married it with lyrical audacity, consummated on a bed of phenomenal music to deliver a breathtaking work of art – Just like a boss!

A toast to the genius of Ice Prince Zamani. Boss is a likable song that would make one travel into space.. Journey on.. Rock on.. and explore limitless expressions on the dance floor.

  1. Nothing new same iceprince thing. I am seriously thinking whether this track should have been part of the Trash-Cann EP. But my concern is, mr zamani said he is a legend like jimmy jat. Abeg who is a legend and what does it tahe to be a legend?

  2. This is part 2 of Victoria Kimani's Show (also produced by Tekno)
typical stuff, though I like the background instrumentals

  3. This is so sad even ice prince is copying from Victoria kimani, no content he could have just said Victoria kimani show part 2. Ice you fall out hand smh

  4. Trash rap. One of the problems plaguing the Naija music scene is the number of old heads milling about, pretending to be relevant, when the truth is that they are washed up. This applies to Ice Prince, D'Banj, 2Face, etc. So many people are so caught up in nostalgia of old music that they excuse all of the bad music we currently hear.

  5. Na only this country..We criticize our musicians… Rick ross will use one Gbim gbim Beat and the rest will use it also..We never blame or abuse them..Enjoy music and 4 get this Naija Stress….If you never eat..No use hour hanger here…

  6. According to Ovie, "You’d have to be a statue to not move to this". E be like say I be statue and wasn't aware sha, because I didn't move a muscle…or maybe we didn't listen to the same song.

    • No be today when Ovie don dey hype. Na natural gift im get for that matter. This track should have been reserved for TRASH CAN 2 EP. Jesse Jagz is back in Choc City so Ice take advantage of that.

  7. Don't worry
Hiphop resides in Ghana and South Africa
Look at dem Nations Music Video charts and see
Naija got 9 out of 10 songs all Afro Pop
Ghana got 7 Hiphop 2 dancehall and 1 Afro Pop
    S.A got 6 Hiphop 4 house music
It doesn't even make sense for comparison
    Watchout for Zambia
We takin over with Slap Dee and Macky 2 next year
This is extremely wack… No apologies

  10. Be sincere, when last did ice prince drop a top 10 hit track? I really can't remember. He's mediocre at best just lucky. Now he's trying to switch his style but my guy it's too late.

  11. This sounds like Yemi Alade – Where is my journey .
This is crap from Ice prince and he needs to spend less time posting pictures on Instagram and concentrate on music if he doesnt want to end up like dbanj

  14. There legit is something about this song… i think its because of the beat… but this could become a legit jam in a few weeks! Ice Prince didn't try for the song at all tho.. but as we all know.. nobody really listens to vocals anymore, just beat… Tekno gave it his all in this song… Ice Prince just didn't give it his all! Oh.. and before you descend on me for stating my OPINION… remember everyone is entitled to state their OPINION and u cant force me to see things from your own perspective.

  15. all you guys are silly ass haters and ya all dont know fuck about music , this is house music and the tune is international , ice had made good music for all u Nigerians , this is for international market , so shut the hell up if u dont understand it.

  17. With the whole thing that seems to be building inside this area, a significant percentage of opinions are relatively radical. On the other hand, I appologize, but I can not subscribe to your whole suggestion, all be it exciting none the less. It would seem to me that your opinions are actually not entirely justified and in actuality you are yourself not fully certain of the point. In any event I did appreciate looking at it.

  18. All of u shouting trash trash. How many songs have u written produced or done on your own. U people forget that these guys are human beings like us. Copy kor Copy ni. If it's easy to copy u go and copy someone and make your own music na…let's see if LTV lagos or NTA Lagos will show It let alone MTVBase. Useless critics.
