MOSA – Why’d You Lie

I became a fan of MOSA the moment I heard his debut single #illjustsayit (I Love You). Steaming from the release of that song earlier this year, the producer, singer and songwriter is back with another lovely song.

With MOSA‘s signature production style and vocal prowess, “Why’d You Lie” tells the story of a heartbroken lover coming to terms with betrayal. Take a listen.

  3. Choi!!!!! Its been a while since I heard a really good RnB song that would blow my mind…Dude reminds me of one of them Day 26 dudes…smooth beats, silky voice no homo…
and that oral beatboxing that he added to the beat at the begining, abeg can anyone else hear it or is it just me?
"Come, nkechi, why, why'd you lie? "

  4. Here's the thing.. Lovely song no doubt.. BUT the dis guy need more work.. First his voice is too nasal.. Singing from his nose.. Which causes him to screw up the pitches.. Going high whre he shuldnt be. He began well wit the rhythm but effed it up as the song went on. If he produced d beat.. Wow..then its more grease to Your elbow. Sorry for the typos… Hehehe

  5. Respect your opinion but there ain't nothing nasal about this delivery. I hope you listened to I'll just say it when it dropped earlier this year? Please take a listen to and maybe you'll better appreciate his vocal ability!

  6. Gud music heals d soul.

Gud music hlps u fgt ur sorrows.

    Gud music make u dance.

Good music maks u want to be a musician.

I guess u ve bn in ds kinda mood 1nce in ur life?

    Generally gud fin is gud.

    Musa is gud.

  7. @tags… Well, it's all a question of perspective. I was born in the 80's, I come from a school of people who grew up listening to Boys 2 men, philcolins and dolly paton and tracy chapman.. And not that joke of a wiz kid. And I am currently studying music as a course.. When I say someone is effing up a pitch or a rhythm I am simply try to match his music with what I learnt in music theory. Omawumi does the same damage to her tracks.. Same goes for waje. I listened to I love you by mosa.. And I prefer it to this.. There was less damages done there.

  8. I rate 3 and half not because Mosa can not sing but because its not as hynotising as the first single! People please support Real Talent! I hope to hear something Up beat from him sha! Something in the light of Brandy! Like edgy, sexy and cool! Mosa came at the right time! I hope BankyW signs U! Both of you on a song will be Magic! Keep it up! Your Production is excellent! I still listen to dat TY Bello album and its still fresh! I hope radio plays dis song well well! Good morning peeps!!!
