Kay Switch – Owunmi + Gone Are The Dayz + Oluwa Is Involved

Kay Switch aka D’Produkt releases 3 sure-fire singles “Owunmi”, “Gone Are The Dayz” and “Oluwa Is Involved”. The rapper/crooner signed to his brother’s label, D’Banj Records, drops the joints as follow-ups to “Sister Caro” (featuring D’Banj). The thing that strikes me most about all 3 songs is the fact that they’re different. Switch is certainly not a monotonous artiste.

Now the question is… can Kay Switch live up to the very high standards set by his big brother? That’s a tall order but you just never know. Bump these cuts and spill your thoughts.

  13. I really think K-switch is a humble guy in the industry trying to make his music speak for him. I really wish him. But if he wants to really go far, he needs to come out his comfort zone and put his all into this music.

  16. Hmmn For me Kayswitch made the three songs his ,and the guy with the chorus did add some extra spice needed to solidify and more international appealing…

    What i actually love about the tracks his you can see clearly the producer maximize kayswitch ability very well on the songs and the beat kinda kept pushing and pushing you could see the artiste having fun on the beat and it does make you sing and along .

    But I feel you have to play it few times before it grows on you

    However I feel with the resources available to him its easy this days to make a normal song look like a hit great song.

  23. Good efforts….still needs some fine tuning.. Was feeling Owunmi..beat,lyrics until the ragga part, Gone are the Dayz could be a hit or miss.. Oluwaisinvolved was the standout track for me…#JustSaying….47vids.com

I think its high time the entertainment industry has to set up a regulatory body to check the quality of songs released to the public…So many crap songs lately and sometimes i wonder if there is still any raw talent out there …Sentiments apart ,what is Idris,tetuila and host of others still doing in the music scene…..All these guys should stop wasting their chop money on wack videos that will take them nowhere…..My Best Nigeria Aritste now is IYANYA cos that guy is got real talent….I miss MOHITS(those two fake bosses are senseless)…..Wish they can turn back the hands of time.

  81. He tried with his lyrics and vocals. Not the normal noise we hear these days that are disguised as freestyles. His music has content and of course his voice is different from the other Nigerian musicians. However, there seems to be something missing either in the production or the mixing. But all in all, very good effort. It is very hard to follow up such a successful brother who is arguably one of Africa's biggest musicians and he did very well. 8/10 for me
