VIDEO PREMIERE: Tillaman ft. Vector – Koma Roll

When this song dropped in 2011, I knew Tillaman aka the Real Omo Oba had a hit on his hands. The visuals which keeps you engaged from the start all the way to the end will do wonders for this track and give it more mileage.

Crisp video and a lot of rolling behind as expected. Cameo appearances by  Samklef, May D, Praize, Chuddy K, SDC, Dipp, Lil Miss Miss

If you are on twitter, make sure you follow @Tillaman because he will be giving out gifts from 12-6am if you answer his questions correctly.

Here is question #1:

  1. What’s Tillaman’s label name? (Euphoric T-Shirt + N1000 recharge card)
If you know the answer, tweet @tillaman and tell him the correct answer and if you answer first, you get a Euphoric T-Shirt + N1000 recharge card. Also follow  @tillaman for the other questions.

  18. God bless you for that statement bruv. The first time I heard him on JJC's 'We are Africans remix' and some stuffs from 166 family, I was like damn, this is 9ja's T-Pain right there.

  19. I have always loved and adored Tillaman….NO HOMO! This is Omo Oba to humble to de n sing song! It was just one word from his numerous lyrics that got me locked to his style…..go check out JJC – We are Africans remix……."Ise lo so omo nu bi oko"…..God bless your hustle Tilla….'em don know!

  20. Lighting = Fantastic!
    Editing = Above average
Grading = Very good (The flat, low contrast feel of the exterior shots needed some more "punch")
Story = Lacking (I strongly believe music videos are great vehicles for story telling, regardless of the lyrics to the song.)
VFX = Some particle effects unnecessary but the lens wacking effects worked well.

In all, it is definitely a very good video and would give the artiste a lot more visibility.

  21. TILLAMAN's KOMA ROLL #VIDEO is WOW!!!! may thy good Lord continue to bless CLARENCE PETERS ! I see you Vector! #raaah

  22. Sometimes i wonder why the good musician no dey blow the one that dont need studio voice , the one that dont need noise pollution , but those one that uses studio and noise pollution blow with there yeye lyrics they cant even make it to x factor talkless of britain got talent or the voice , yeye musician i don forget say na poverty dey make us listen to there noise pollution Tilla i always adore you from the day i heard ur puyanga

  23. So, Every video must have a story line? Well, its your personal opinion. It's high time, you shot one so, we can compare, or else, you'll remain an empty vessel…..

    • Michael Schummacher probably doesn't know how to change an oil filter in his fancy Mercedes SLS but that doesn't rule him out as an authority in the design and testing of racing automobiles.

  24. not until you shoot your video in South Afrika or New York But watchin these video seeing that cms bridge am proud to be a Lagosian though abi omo Ogun to di kal lolz , any investor who invest on Vector will not bankrupt the guy is fucking Good joor

  25. Hey Bro, please view this as a sincere question i have utmost respect for you and your craft. I need clarification on if a standard music video must always convey a distinct linear narrative a.k.a story? I've been of the opinion that this genre could be visually stimulating without story-telling being an absolute pre-requisite.I can't really read up on it so I stand to gain here. Cheers!

    • There is NO absolute direction the content of a music video should follow. What's most important is representation of the artiste/lyrics and acceptance by the fans.
If a music video lacks a linear story BUT is still engaging (visually) it could be termed as a success. A good example is the Hennessy Bartender video from the same director.
Another route a director might follow is the abstract one. A good example is "What's it gonna be" by Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson. No linear story but very engaging.
I am a sucker for stories, whether linear of not and I am very sure stories could be created from just about ANY concept. It is left for the director to do that.

      • alright cool…so just to clarify say for instance i shoot images of flashing lights, sun and moon and make it into a video for a group called Solar for a track called eclipse. Its still acceptable as long as the fans like it. Thanks for the info boss. I learn a lot from ur comments.

  26. Soji Ogunnaik, you're an edeot, stop making a foolof your sel on notjustdot.com, clarence peters is still your fader in directing music vedeos and advatizment….Get a lifeeeee! go home and be happy with your family. stop desgracing their last name online

  27. what is all this. same kind of video for everybody. and some people are shouting good video. after 3 months you wont see it on any station, just like the rest of the mass produced videos.

  28. My opinion is whether abstract or not, a video should tell a story, if not there shouldn't be a video in the first place, And if you did pay attention to his work, you should know he has shot a couple of videos, maybe not music videos but they are quality ones, Soji is entitled to his opinion so is LASTMA Killa, at the end of the day no one is an empty vessel, WORD!!!

  29. ive seen these guyz perform a couple…tilla-man is a beast and that jamo boy is more like crazy guy that skinny one is tricky and u'll neva believe what he can turn the place to within a flash,im glad them try shoot beta video for that mad song…big up tillaman, more efforts to ur elbow

  33. Tillaman sexy…………….. the other guy with dreads him fine.. Am a big fan and I see Euphoric is a new movement thats gaining momentum………………..
