It takes real guts to hit the studio with the aim of recording an Asa cover. When an artiste is brave enough to do it, you secretly pray they don’t ruin an already certified classic tune (all Asa’s tunes are classics). So, as soon as I found out Loopy/J-Town vocalist, Lindsey, recorded a “Jailer” cover, as talented as I KNOW she is, I was still a bit apprehensive… only a bit.
However, it took less than 30 seconds to clear my doubts after pushing the play button. Listen to this lovely piece from Lindsey. Bless her heart.
