  1. This is my vision, this is wot i see, this is whr we are heading, this is wot i want to see more off. Nigeria, Lets Go!, lets go international. CHEERS.

  2. Thats my baby…I fell in love from the onset. Keep it up…..O ni lati Bamidele [singing]……but i still dey save bride price though…oops

  3. This is what Psquare was talking about, we don't need international collabos to get the recognition we deserve. i love and respect ASA, i ve always been a fan, and i will always be. God give you the strength to work harder!

    • I guess u guys are all myopic and just plainly complex-ed. Collabo has no disadvantage if you are good, if anything it is all positive. Besides she has done tons and tons of collabos in europe. Don't discorage what has no bearing to your own success. Psquare might not need collabo but doing it is not a sin. broaden you horizon guys!!!

      • You are the one person that nailed it on the head. Nigerian/African artists should spread there tentacles just like the Jamaicans did. Be proud of Naira but i will suggest that artist should be more proud of $ because 150 pieces of Naira is 1 Dollar; Do the maths. #Enoughsaid.

      • No, you dont understand, nobody said doing international collabos was a sin, simply saying we dont necessary or compulsorily need that to get recognition worldwide. of course collabos are always good, the fans would like to see psquare and usher do something together, thats for sure, but what they were saying was that, they cant depend on that to get air plays outside of Africa. Psquare again never said international collabos was a nono, they just want it strictly business and nothing else.

  4. I Love this, i Love Asa. this album was released on my Birthday last year, and bought it as a gift for me and you. i love this Woman

  5. i once chatted with friends, the next 9gerian to put us on REAL world stage will be ASA…but my friends re too confused about the party sounds they hear and thing otherwise……how many 9gerian musicians do real music this day?….she stands out among thousands of mediocre artists we have in 9ja…….dont be surprised she has fans in Russia and the Ukraine…heard her sound as a ringtone(jailer) once in a bus…..m a big fan…might have written an epistle as a comment but for who else?…has to be ASA….

  6. wanna be a local champion? keep doing knacking akpako…lol want to be known intl? do music with depth. it wont pay quickly like commercial akpako music but on the long it pays so much in many ways!

  7. Good music will always get there …. Its painful even people involved in pushing Nigerian Music Industry forward dont really applaud good music with meaningful words .. They have so much commercialized everything .. That, song like PETE PETE by 9ice ft. Asa , Rain Drops by 2baba etc didnt get any nomination in all our awards is really appalling .. only impact music has on our youths these days is making FAST MONEY however they can and living fake luxurious lives .. Yes the youth wants to dance thats the modern mentality even across europe but a beyonce , Rihanna, Mary J etc will always have songs about empowerment in their albums ..only few Nigerian artistes do that but I dont blame them cos if you dont sing commercial songs even radio stations wont give it more airplay …Its only in Nigeria that you will be stuck in the traffic in a hot afternoon and all you still here on ur car radio is a party track instead of soulful music that can ginger your spirit positively .. Nigerians love Adele why wont they love Asa as much? God Is Able

  8. @amblors i can explain it to you i did an internship lasy yr with them at their new york office! the next big sound that all those nigerians appear on like jesse jagz, dbanj, naeto c, is not a real chart , its just information they gather about artists elsewhere doing it big , so thATS NO REAL CHART, NOBODY CARES ABOUT THat…..but the world music chart represents artists from other parts of the world who dont promote their music in the usa unlike the waynes and drakes, etc but actually sell them in the usa, so thats what that chart represents, the sales ain really huge, u might sell 2,000 copies a week but if ur the highest seller on the international shelf then ur likely to debut at number one…..but its not a small thing o! people in this category are a actually considered for A grammy…so if it keeps up this way asa might just be nominated for a grammy……thumbs up girl!!! the only good live female singer naija has!! TRUST ME I KNOW!

  9. Asa's Be My Man gets played everyday in Hong Kong and Macao.

She is by far the most successful Nigerian artiste. Sadly, as has been stressed, Nigerians do not celebrate ingenuity thanks to the dumbing down from the likes of Psquare, Dbanj and co.

Asa would have been with well over 5 Grammys if she was British or American.

The Grammy is another political joke. It's funny anybody consider it serious!

  10. It's time we look deep inward and step up our game. This chick is keeping it real. Am an artiste, i love Her. If you can't sell ur culture on the global map, then ur selling crap and jumping at other ppl's stuffs like a hoe. This is music. Hate it or love it. She's gettin there. I know a couple of haters be hating cos they can't take the pain to write good sounding, lyrically sane music. This is just the beginin. Get into the album rum folks and stop sampling all kinda demo songs on NJO. ASA is the face of "Good music pays"

  11. Asa 's music is so deep. Is high time we shun dis party music most of our artist do and listen to quality and meaningful music.

  12. I said it when d debut album came out, she'll take d title LADY OF SONGS b4 long. She's always AMAZIN. 51 thumbs up 4 u girl!!!

  13. bs…there's nothing wrong in making songs for the streets. different strokes for different folks. akpako music is a genre on its own.

  14. ASA you are really making us proud here!!!! why follow the crowd mentality???? you and M.I are the very best the African continent have got> I'm sure grammy still knows that they owe you guys an award> I'm so proud!!!!!

  15. Lovely album, i have listened all the songs from new album. Great work done by you. Actually i came here by chance i think cause i was searching for wholesale clothing. Thanks for my having my thoughts.
