Manchester City’s latest signing Erling Haaland has started his campaign in the Premier League like a house on fire.
ERIK TEN HAG BREAKS LONG-STANDING RECORD AT MANCHESTER UNITED
The Norwegian wrote his name in the history books of the Premier League on his first Premier League game. Haaland scored a goal in each half of the game against West Ham United to give the Citizens maximum points.
However, Haaland is the second debutant in the history of the Premier League to win and score a penalty on his debut since Alexandre Pato did for Chelsea against Aston Villa in April 2016.
He also became the first player to score a brace on his Premier League debut for Manchester City since Sergio Aguero in August 2011. The supporters of the Manchester club will hope Haaland continues in this form as the season progresses.
