Chelsea Football Club are reportedly set to lose another player to Barcelona in this summer’s transfer window.
RAHEEM STERLING REVEALS WHY HE DECIDED TO PLAY FOR THOMAS TUCHEL
The Blues are looking to strengthen their defence department ahead of the new football season. Chelsea have had Jules Kounde on its radar since the last summer transfer window ( 2021/22) but are yet to teach an agreement with the Sevilla player.
The deal to bring the French player might have hit a bump following the reports from Spain that Sevilla and Barcelona have reached an agreement for the centre-back. Chelsea had earlier submitted a bid of £55 million for the player but there are indications that Barcelona have submitted a higher bid for the Kounde.
If he joins the Cataluyna side then this will be the second player that Chelsea will lose to Barcelona this transfer window after the Raphinha’s deal. Both supporters of Barcelona and Chelsea are waiting anxiously to see which club the player will sign for before the end of the season.
