Chelsea and Inter Milan have reached an agreement for the loan move of Romelu Lukaku next season.

The deal of the loan move was confirmed by multiple reports on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022. According to reports from transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan will pay Chelsea €8 million, plus add-ons, he will be at the Serie A club until June 2023.
Lukaku was bought by Chelsea during the last summer transfer window in 2021 for a record transfer fee of €100 million from Inter Milan. However, the Belgian has failed to hit the ground running since he joined the Blues.
The forward man ended the season as Chelsea’s highest goal scorer with 15 goals but scored only 8 Premier League goals. Lukaku had an interview with Sky Sports stating his desire to return to Inter Milan.
