The Ivorian achieved this feat in Crystal Palace’s game against Leeds United at Selhurst Park on Monday, April 25th, 2022. Zaha reached 273 Premier League games for the Eagles, the same number of games reached by former Arsenal player, Kanu also known as Papilo.

Ivory Coast’s Kolo Toure (353) and Nigeria’s Shola Ameobi (298) are the only two Africans that have played more Premier League than Zaha. Should he be selected by Patrick Vieira for the game against Southampton, he will become the third player on the list of the most capped African player.

The 29-year-old is fourth on the Eagles’ all-time appearance makers list with only Jim Cannon, Terry Long and Albert Harry ahead.
