The singer-songwriter finally broke the silence after his double loss at the recently held 64th Grammy Awards.
Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has sent congratulatory messages to Angelique Kidjo and Black Coffee for their Grammy wins.
61-year-old Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo on April 3, 2021, won a Grammy at the 64th Grammy Awards for Best Global Music Album, beating Nigerian superstar Wizkid and others who were nominated in that category for the prize.

South African DJ, Black Coffee, also became the first African DJ to win a Grammy Award after he bagged a win in the best dance/electronic album category.
Wizkid, who lost in two categories at the 2022 Grammy Awards, today, April 5th, 2022, took to his Instagram page to send congratulatory messages to both Angelique Kidjo and Black Koffee, who are African representatives. He wrote:
