Nigeria’s sprinter, Blessing Okagbare has failed to appeal the 10-year-ban that was slammed on her by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).

Okagbare had earlier threatened that she was going to file an appeal against the decision taken by the body at the Court of Arbitration for Sports ( CAS). However, the court confirmed that the sprinter did not file any appeal which expired on March, 18th, 2022.
Please be advised that at the time of writing, no appeals have been filed at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in relation to this matter.
She was banned after the presence of multi-banned substances were found in her system. However, Okagbare denied that she took any banned susbtance.
