In their press conference, ahead of the Premier League tie between Chelsea and Norwich, both Thomas Tuchel (manager of Chelsea) and Dean Smith (Manager of Norwich) gave updates on their players ahead of the scheduled fixture in the League.
Thomas Tuchel, in his press conference today, Wednesday, March 9, 2022, indicated that key players of Chelsea would be missing in the Premier League tie against Norwich City.
Chelsea Team News vs Norwich
Thomas Tuchel has indicated that Reece James would be out of the fixture against Norwich scheduled for Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 8:30 pm West African Time.
The Chelsea boss mentioned that Reece James picked up a muscle injury and won’t be fit to play in the tie.
Chelsea would however welcome the presence of their captain César Azpilicueta and the wing-back Marcos Alonso had both returned to training for the Champions of Europe and the World.
Hudson Odoi would, however, still be assessed ahead of the fixture, with Ben Chilwell still out till the end of the 2021/2022 season.

Norwich Team News vs Chelsea
Dean Smith has confirmed that Norwich would be without Adam Idah due to a knee injury and Andrew Omobamidele due to a back injury.
Billy Gilmour would be illegible to play against his parent club, but the Norwich side would receive the boost of Max Aarons and Lukas Rupp, who are both available ahead of the tie.
