Aubameyang Opens Goal-Scoring Account with Barcelona

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened his goal-scoring account for Barcelona in an entertaining match against Valencia.

Barcelona were coming into the game off the back of their Europa League game which ended 1-1 against Napoli in Italy on Thursday, February 17th, 2022. Aubameyang scored his first goal for the Catalonia side since he joined from Arsenal during the January transfer window.

He left Arsenal due to a disciplinary situation at the club between himself and the Gunners’ manager, Mikel Arteta.

The Gabonese scored his first goal and the first for Barcelona on the 23rd minute before Frenkie de Jong scores the second goal of the game. Aubameyang got his brace a few minutes to the end of the first half on the 38th minute. He got himself his hat-trick on the 68th minute. The game ended 4-1 in Barcelona’s favour.
