Manchester United forward player Marcus Rashford has sent a message to teenage sensation, Anthony Elanga after missing a penalty in the game against Middlesbrough at Old Trafford.

The teenager missed his penalty kick during the shootout to send the Red Devils out of the fourth round of the FA Cup on Friday, February 4th, 2022. The game ended 1-1 after extra time which saw the match go into the lottery of penalty shootouts.
Rashford took to his official Twitter account a few hours after the game to encourage the teenager and not beat himself up about the incident.
Jadon Sancho scored the first goal of the game in the 25th minute just minutes after Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty. Middlesbrough came back into the game with a controversial equaliser from Matt Crooks in the 64th minute. The replay of the goal showed there was a handball incident before Boro scored the goal.
The result means Middlesbrough have qualified for the Quater-finals against all odds.
