Tottenham Hotspur have been knocked out of the UEFA Conference League following their inability to play their final group game against Rennes.

The Premier League club decided not to play the game because of the recent run break of Covid-19 among the players and staff members of the first team in the week leading to the game. According to reports from UEFA, the game could not be rescheduled because it was believed that Spurs had enough players to execute the game.
Tottenham needed a win in the game against Rennes to qualify for the next round of the competition. The decision by UEFA means the game will be seen as a forfeited match, meaning Spurs lost the game 3-0.
